Ошибка в phpmyadmin вида:

The secret passphrase in configuration (blowfish_secret) is too short.

означает, что в конфиге /usr/share/phpMyAdmin/config.inc.php неверное прописан blowfish_secret
blowfish_secret - должен быть ровно 32 символа, например,

$cfg['blowfish_secret'] = '12347678901234567690123456788065'; /* YOU MUST FILL IN THIS FOR COOKIE AUTH! */
