CentOS 6 - 64 bit - configure: error: libjpeg.(a|so) not found.

Ошибка configure: error: libjpeg.(a|so) not found.

Решение:

При выполнении configure заменить (если 64bit) --with-libdir=lib  на  --with-libdir=lib=lib64
